I'm calling this a "deck wine" because it's one I'm planning to enjoy more of on a sunny day on our deck. This wine is around $15 and I picked this up at the West Seattle Metropolitan Market. It's the first time I've had a Vinho Verde, which I bought to go with our clams cataplana the other day. I think this would also go great with oysters and other fish or seafood.
This wine is delightful. Light, slightly sweet and mineral with a hint of bubbles. I'm in love. I can't wait to try other Vinho Verde's but I can highly recommend Famega.
You don't need to wait for sunny weather to enjoy, either.
